Facility operators come to the OCA already knowing they need containment. A directory referral is a qualified enquiry, not a cold list.
The technical library
Every bulletin, specification template and plan-review checklist, including the material that never gets published publicly.
Credential that means something
Verified equipment, named trained sprayers and called references. Specifiers know the difference.
The committee
Direct access to the technical committee for scope review, failure investigation and specification questions.

How it works
Submit the application
Company details, service regions, application types and equipment inventory. Takes about twenty minutes.
Equipment and training review
The committee confirms your proportioning equipment suits the chemistry you spray, and that trained sprayers are named individuals.
Reference calls
Three containment projects. We call the clients. This is the step that takes the longest and the one that makes the credential worth carrying.
Insurance verification
Current general liability and pollution liability certificates, appropriate to containment scope.
Listing and onboarding
Directory listing goes live, library access opens, and your regions enter the referral routing.
Annual re-verification
Credentials, insurance and named sprayers are re-checked each year. A lapsed certificate pauses referrals until it is current.

How long does the application take?
Usually four to six weeks, and the reference calls are the long pole. Submitting complete insurance certificates and reference contacts up front cuts it considerably.
We are new. Can we still join?
Apply anyway. If the three-project requirement is the only gap, the committee can admit an applicator on a provisional listing that converts once the projects are complete.
Do you certify individual sprayers or the company?
The company holds the membership, but named individuals are recorded. If your trained sprayers leave, tell us – a listing that names people who no longer work there is the fastest way to lose the credential.
Can distributors and fabricators join?
Yes. Applicator, fabricator, supplier and facility-operator categories all exist. Say which you are in the application.
